If we want to transform the destructive and negative reality that most of humanity has been experiencing over the past several years, the first step is for more of us to recognize and shift the fear-based beliefs that have been fueling this reality. Beliefs shape our world, but to change a belief, we must first change the perception that created it.
Perceptions are formed by an accumulation of thoughts. These thoughts are the building blocks that create our experiences, which ultimately become our reality. Positive experiences arise from thoughts grounded in love, which is positive energy. In contrast, negative experiences are born from thoughts rooted in fear, which is negative energy.
To determine whether a thought stems from love or fear—whether it’s positive or negative—we need only pay attention to the feelings that follow it. When a thought gives us a sense of lightness or peace, it originates from love, which is positive energy. Conversely, if a thought feels heavy, uncomfortable, or brings anxiety, it comes from fear—the opposite of love.
If we wish to transform a negative experience into a positive one, we must first stop the flow of negative thoughts that created and continue to sustain that experience. Without the constant feeding of those thoughts, the experience naturally dissolves, and the reality tied to it fades away.
To break free from the cycle of negativity, we need to allow new thoughts to enter our minds. But for new thoughts to take root, we must be open-minded and ready to accept them. Being closed off or resistant keeps us stuck in old patterns, while openness creates space for transformation.
Once we accept a new thought, it attracts more of the same energy from the universe. If the new thought is positive, it draws in other positive thoughts, creating a snowball effect. As we continue focusing on positive thoughts, the accumulation of positive energy builds, and that energy begins to manifest as new, positive experiences. These experiences then become our new reality.
The reality we experience, both individually and collectively, is simply the manifestation of the thought-energy we’ve accumulated—knowingly or unknowingly. When many people allow fear-based thoughts to dominate, it results in a shared negative reality, as we’ve witnessed globally over the past two years. But just as fear-based thoughts have shaped this challenging reality, love-based thoughts can reshape it into something new.
If enough of us replace fear with love, negativity with positivity, and close-mindedness with openness, we can shift not only our own experiences but also the collective reality of humanity. It all begins with recognizing the power of our thoughts and choosing to embrace those that lead us toward love, light, and transformation.
